Sponsorship

Our Thirty-sixth season is sponsored by:

For the CCO to keep ticket prices from rising, we rely on the sponsorship of many local businesses, organizations, and individuals who help to underwrite our performances.  Revenue from ticket sales, on average, cover less than 25% of the total cost for each concert.   If you are interested in joining us in our mission to remain a valued source for live classical music in Ithaca and Tompkins County, please contact the CCO office for more details.

There are many levels of sponsorship opportunities available, including underwriting an orchestral or chamber series performance, sponsoring a named musician chair, funding a donor event or supporting a component of our educational programs.  If you would like to make a secure online donation, please visit the “Make a Donation” page.

If you are interested in endowing a Named Musician Chair, you will find more information at the bottom of this page.

Endowing a Named Chair

The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra is fortunate to have such talented musicians in our ensemble. If you would like to support a musician’s position in the Orchestra, endowing a chair is a rewarding way to develop a closer relationship with the musicians and the Orchestra as a whole. The named chair program allows you to support one of the positions that has personal significance to you. If flute or cello is your passion, you could designate that instrument's principal chair for your sponsorship.  Similarly, you could also choose to sponsor a specific musician's chair (such as a section string player) so that your named endowment would be specific to that individual.

Named Chair Donors receive:

  • Acknowledgement in all Cayuga Chamber Orchestra program books as part of the orchestra roster
  • Acknowledgement on the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra website
  • An opportunity to establish a direct relationship with the musician who occupies your chair

Chair sponsorship opportunities are three-year, annual commitments beginning at $1000. For more information about how we can work with you to sponsor the CCO musician of your choosing, please contact our Executive Director.

The CCO gratefully acknowledges our current chair sponsors:

  • Shirley Hockett
  • Clinton B. Ford Memorial
  • Carl & Jean Gortzig
  • John & Ida Wolff
  • John & Marybeth Ostrom
  • Steve & Karen Sass
  • Daryl J. Bem
  • David & Leslie Sagan
  • and those who wish to remain anonymous

The CCO invites you to patronize these local businesses that support our season.
